First Real Playtime

Cute as can be...

I just wanted to add a couple of pictures. I haven't been posting them as often as I should. The top one is Caleb in his "prison" outfit that Mary picked out for him. The bottom one is in his bouncy chair that Wes and Sarah gave him.

Home Sweet Home

Well, we're here.... and we're tired! Things are going well. We're adjusting to our lack of sleep. Caleb is looking a lot less yellow, and he's spending more time awake. We'll get some new pictures up soon, so keep checking back. :-)

Quick Update

Well we are still at the hospital. Caleb was abit too jaundiced to come home from the hospital and has had to spend some time under the UV lights. He is doing well, and we should be going home tommorrow (Sat.). Jessica is doing very well too. Right now we are rooming in at the hopital and Caleb spends most of his time in the room with us under his blue lights.

D-Day

Well, everything seems to be going well. We had a doctor's appointment today. We have an official baby due date. I'm going to be induced on the 18th. We should know more details after next Monday's appointment. I'll keep you posted!

More Tummy Pictures

Here I am at 35 weeks pregnant. The good news is that we're almost there! Soon we'll have baby pictures to post so you don't have to stare at me anymore. :-)

Update...

I just wanted everyone to know that everything is going great. I'm to that point where I go to the doctor every week to make sure everything is going okay. I'm having those lovely Braxton Hicks contractions every now and then, but that's about it. I'll keep you posted if anything changes. :-)

Skies clear as last shower passes...

Well, we've officially had all of our baby showers. The church put on a nice little shindig yesterday. We played the required "use a string to measure the poor fat girl's stomach" game and ate some cake. For those of you keeping score, we have less than two months remaining until the official due date.

On a different note, Josh is back from Houston. His board exam went well, and now we just wait for them to mail him his scores. He is officially a senior medical student now... which is nice because the hours improve slightly.

Baby Shower

Thank you to Sandra, my lovely sister. My baby shower in Fort Smith was a great success. More people attended than I expected, and that's always nice. I received some wonderful gifts that I am sure Caleb will enjoy. I have one more shower coming up on the 5th of August at the church. Hopefully when all is said and done we'll have all the baby supplies we could ever need. :-)

Registry...

I wanted to let everyone know that we are now registered at Toys-R-Us in addition to Wal Mart. Other than that, there is nothing new to report. Everything is great. I'm now at 31 weeks, so we're almost done!

Preggo Picture

Some of you were asking for a tummy picture. Well, here it is. Pennie took some pictures for us after the 4th, and I have to say she did a great job. At the time this was taken I was 28 weeks.

Registry...

We are now officially registered at Wal-Mart! You can look us up on the kiosk at the jewelry counter. It is amazing how much stuff such a little person needs.

Stats...

Here are the basic stats:

* My official due date is September 26th.

* His name is Caleb Aaron. Don't argue... we're not changing it.

* We're decorating with the theme Where The Wild Things Are. (Think blue with white stars.) It's a gorgeous children's book. Look through a copy if you get the chance.

* No, we haven't registered for baby items yet. Don't worry, though, that's what we plan to do tomorrow.
