Bedtime

Madeline has decided recently that her bed is too lonely (or scary, or big, small, fluffy, hard, etc.), and our bed is just right. That means there's always about a fifty percent chance that we'll find her asleep in our bed when we come upstairs for the night. I have to admit that I kinda like it. She just wants to be near us. This phase won't last long, and I'm secretly afraid I'll miss it when it goes.

Start 'em young...

Madeline wanted to go to the mall, so we went while Caleb was in school today. Our mission was to find Madeline some sandals, which we accomplished. Luckily that left us with plenty of time for Blaze'n Burrito! I'm getting them hooked young. Both girls thought it was the best lunch ever. Eleanor cried when the quesadilla ran out. Poor thing. Madeline ate her part of the quesadilla and then devoured OUR cheese dip. If it's already this fun to go shopping with my girlies now, I can't imagine how it will be when they're a little older.

6 month checkup

Eleanor had her 6 month well baby visit this week. I can't believe how fast it's all gone by. Where is my little newborn? She is 27" tall (86th percentile) and 19 lb 6 oz (94th percentile). She is happy, easy-going, and playful. Happy 1/2 birthday, sweet girl!
